The whole process was super easy and whenever we had a question or wanted to update something (like add more uplights, which was a great addition btw) we always got a prompt and helpful reply. And our DJ Rob Goodmonson! We cannot thank him enough for the amazing work he did at our wedding! We loved his energy and all of his questions that he had for us during our phone call consultation. I in particular am very grateful that he was so willing to help me with a special song request which required mixing bits from two songs together for my Father-Daughter dance. He was more than up for the challenge and was so helpful with it! When it came to the actual wedding, he was so kind when introducing himself on our wedding day and did a beautiful job MCing. We wanted more minimal MC work and he nailed it perfectly! He was also super flexible with last minute announcement requests that we had. For example, we realized no one was noticing the anniversary cards we put out for signing at the dinner tables, so we asked him to make a little announcement about it and he did great doing that on the spot! Finally, the music all night was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and he delivered! The music felt very much like “us” and we had so much fun dancing all night long. Everyone kept talking about how great he was and several people said it was the best wedding music they have ever heard. If we ever need a DJ again, without a doubt, we will be hiring DJ Rob!”

Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

“JJ did such a fantastic job at our wedding this June! 3 things really stood out about him! 1) Attentive JJ Really paid attention to what I wanted our wedding day and reception to look like. Everything went so smoothly on the day of because he had really paid attention and gone over every detail of the timeline I had typed up. He was so fun and energetic and really got the party going! He customized our playlist too so that all my favorite songs got played at the wedding. 2) Professional Even though he is definitely fun and outgoing, he was very professional in all his text messages and emails and phone calls. He is very personable and friendly, but sticks to what needs to be accomplished. I really appreciated that. 3) Available JJ gave me his cell phone number and email address. We rented candles, décor, and a large seating chart from them, which was such a lifesaver. We didn’t want to deal with sourcing all of those items or figuring out what to do with them afterward, so being able to rent directly through her made everything so much easier. Our wedding day went so smoothly, nothing went wrong (or if it did, I had no idea, because Hannah was on top of everything!). I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It was truly perfect, and a big part of that is thanks to her. Now that the wedding is over, I honestly feel sad I won’t get to work with Hannah anymore! “949 Studio met and exceeded my expectations for the wedding day! Our DJ Mike was considerate of our wants and met with us a few times before the wedding day to ensure everything was nailed down. He double-checked our chosen songs and made suggestions if he thought one of them wouldn't work. He really brought the party to the wedding day! Our MC Matt was top-notch. He made sure that he had everyone's names correct, that our timeline was on schedule, and was able to work on his feet when something didn't happen exactly in the timeline. He was professional and kind and brought the energy to the wedding day! This team was incredible and made our wedding a night we will never forget!! Pictures don't capture just how much fun we had! I can't recommend them enough!”

“Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.”

“My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
